Transparency
How MIWA is governed
MIWA is a registered non-governmental organisation under the laws of the Republic of Ghana. The board of directors sets strategic direction, approves programme plans, and ensures financial accountability. Day-to-day operations are led by the Director & CEO, who reports to the full board.
We are non-partisan: our work crosses political and denominational boundaries. We believe that community development is best served when it is free of political interference and grounded in local need.
MIWA is working toward publishing an annual report that will detail programme outcomes, financial statements, and board decisions for public accountability. If you would like governance documentation before that report is available, please contact us directly.
